Over the past 4 months I've had bad anxiety about als. I've seen my gp, an orthopedic dr. My physical therapist, a podiatrist and 3 neuros, 1 of which is an als specialist who's been in practice for 30 years. I've had mris, ct scans, an emg/ mcv and endless bloodwork and all of which stated that I absolutely don't have als. I should be happy but I guess from worrying for so long I can't shake it. I have twitches and pain in my feet and legs however I have herniated discs in cervical spine and lumbar spine. The als specialist I saw Monday went over everything with me. Strength tests, went over all my tests. This should have given me relief but I didn't. This man is also chief of neurology specializing in als and is a professor of neurology at Harvard medical school. I should believe him.
