(Question) Trying to put the MS fear behind me but FIRST
« on: April 03, 2014, 08:01:01 AM »
But my darned left foot keeps setting me back! It had weird tingles sometimes, a twitch some other times, and coldness still other times. Of course it's not just my foot but this is what I'm fixated on! Can anxiety be causing my foot to do all this weird stuff or and have the nerves go haywire?! Sometimes they're cold, sometimes it's tingly. Sometimes it's tight. Sometimes it buzzes it twitches.

I have tingles everywhere, especially, in my feet and sometimes hands, and twitches everywhere. I got a MRI scan a couple of months ago and it was  clear. This is anxiety for me causing these symptoms as it happened to me before in periods of high stress.
Have you seen the doctor about it?

I saw my Dr., he wasn't at all concerned but he didn't check anything! He checked my eyes and my knee reflex and that's it, that's all he did. He fully pinned it to anxiety but these physical symptoms are so hard for me to believe it's anxiety!

Ap151 I have had neurological symptoms for a long time. After extensive testing, my doctor suggested it could be anxiety. Like you, I find it hard to believe. It could be my skepticism that is keeping me stuck, I am not really sure. Yesterday I went for my first therapy session where she uses cognitive behavioral therapy. Hopefully this will work. Maybe you should give it a try as well.

Here is to all of us feeling well soon.

I get the MS, ALS, Parkinsons, etc. fears.
I am 58 and told MS doesn't typically start at my age.
I have had cat scan 2010, MRIS  2011 and 2012 for other reasons, but I did ask if I had MS, so I would think if I did it would have shown up.

My thoughts still think.
