Yet Another New Symptom
« on: April 02, 2014, 01:21:48 PM »
Has anyone ever felt that stationary objects seem to be moving in their vision?  It happened to me last night, and ever since then when I look at an object it appears to be moving in my sight.  For example, I can look at a picture on the computer and it seems to get larger while I stare at it. Of course my first thoughts are brain tumor or that something is severely wrong with my eyes.  Can anxiety do this to people?  Or is there actually something wrong with my vision?

Any comments will help.  Of course I am freaking out about this!!!!

I've had weird stuff seemingly happen when I stare at things.  I've had things seem to move in my peripheral vision and when I look, of course it hadn't moved.  I've also had the thing where if I stare at a picture on the cpu it starts to look larger.  Oh and if I'm super tired and taking a relaxing bath and start to stare and zone out, everything starts to get darker and darker but when I blink it's fine again.  It's never worried me and has happened for a long time.  I think those of us with HA tend to focus on things that other people just don't notice.  We are hyper aware of every little thing our body does that normally our mind doesn't focus on.  Hope this helps.

Yes this actually does help.  I just keep getting new "symptoms" that keep freaking me out.  I think it must have something to do with stress.  Thank you for the reply!
