FREAKING OUT - AGAIN (please help)
« on: April 02, 2014, 12:33:51 PM »
Okay so since this all started it's gotten better, then worse, then better. Every time I convince myself I don't have MS I get a new twitch or spasm that throws me back down the well!

Yesterday I had some pretty crazy foot spasms on the arch of my left foot, this is the most recent new twitch I've had. I had spasms in my left calf the before that. It happened once but it lasted 15 seconds until finally I moved my leg. Before that, it was in my left thigh and even before that it was in my upper right arm.

I've had tingling in random spots in my body, random coldness in a small area on my skin in the most random spots like my right wrist or shin. I've had muscle tightness, globus sensation.

I've been working out over the last month 5 days a week. My anxiety is the absolute highest it's ever been, just totally off the wall. I think I have somatism because while I was focused on the eye issues involved with MS. I had eye pain and burning, now that I'm focused on the muscle spasms again, they are back.

I'm starting to get really worried that maybe I do have MS and I'm beginning to get panicky again. I'm 16 and athletic so could this be growth or overusage of "all" these muscles? I'm struggling to believe anxiety is causing real live muscle spasms that last multiple seconds!

Someone give me something!

Lots of things can cause muscle twitches...stress, dehydration, vit deficiency to name a few.  Try not to focus on the little things our bodies do.  We all feel twitches, cold spots, numb spots, soreness, cramps yada yada

But what about spasms that last multiple seconds? I've never had tingling or twitches before.
