I'm this way too! I constantly monitor my own moods & feelings to ensure they appropriate reactions (which they always are). It can be exhausting and I only do it when I'm alone & not busy. Like most other anxiety symptoms, I've found that's it most helpful to get busy to distract your mind from these thoughts. I often lose myself in a good book or watch a funny, uplifting TV show. With anxiety I've adopted the motto "busiest is best" and it's really helped!
