Okay, recap for those new to my situation; I have lumps on my hand. They're making me freak out, and experience all manner of highly stressful reactions as a result. My general practitioner didn't know what the lumps were. My orthopedist didn't know what the lumps were. I got an MRI and now today I got the results and guess what? THEY STILL DON'T KNOW WHAT THE DAMN LUMPS ARE!
The report is full of phrases like, "nonspecific soft tissue prominence" "no well-defined mass flow voids or cysts noted" or "ill-defined" over and over for each lump! They have NO CLUE what it is, and now they're recommending a rheumatologist! They apparently got crystal clear pics of who-knows-what!
I am PANICKING and have waited so long to finally get an answer and THIS is what I get?! The only, the ONLY, saving grace here is that he said if it was anything like a tumor, it'd have been obvious from the scan. I just don't know what to do aside from call some NEXT doctor and roll the dice AGAIN!
