Anxiety causes chin pain?
« on: March 30, 2014, 12:46:21 PM »
Occasionally,  really occasionally,  I get pain in the middle of my chin. It feels like it's inside the chin in the middle. I don't know what could cause it since it's not exactly a jaw pain, it feels specifically like a chin pain. It's often accompanied by other little pains so I wonder if it's anxiety.

I don't know what causes it but I occasionally get sharp shooting pain in my chin as well. Ever find a cause for yours?

A couple of years ago, when my Anxiety first started, this was the first symptom I had.  Mine was more like a numb tingling and then some shooting pain.  Once I started Buspar it stopped, but I was pretty freaked out over it.  Also, I am really bad about grinding my teeth, and the anxiety meds helped with that so that may have been the cause too...  Hang in there,
