I've had DPDR for years, and medication often increased the severity. I would discuss it with your doctor, or counselor if you have one. Try keeping a daily log on it. I found this helped me describe what I was feeling when the time came to talk to a doctor. Many don't seem to understand that DP/DR is a very real symptom, even disorder. Just remember that it won't hurt you, even if it might feel like your brain is 'damaged.'
