I've been playing basketball today for 1.5h and after only right calf which I feel is stiff is sore, the othet one is not. Only rational thing I could come up with is that it is very tense cause of my anxiety so it got tired easier. Can'tsee how could I even play basketball if it was MS. Any thoughts?

If it was MS and since you would be having a flare up if you were experiencig symptoms, no, you couldn't play basketball.

This type presents with the more MAJOR symptoms. Difficulty just walking... You played basketball. Difficulty speaking? Nope. Major visual impairment (severe optic neuritis). This type of MS is easier to rule out. You don't have PPMS I guarantee you that. And I'd wager all my savings you don't have the typical type of MS either.

History of Googling says otherwise...it started with tingling finger for someone, numb patch for other...but symptoma never went away...

Some pill to erase all my previous Googling "knowledge" would be an awesome thing to have.

Are your symptoms coming and going when you're distracted or occupied? Mine do, no doubt. If the answer is yes, you can rule out PPMS entirely.

I am recently diagnosed with BFS and have had all the work up for MS. I do not have MS and neither do you. I HAVE THE CALF TIGHTNESS you explain to a tee. It will be when I have done nothing physical. This is text book BFS. You can go to the aboutbfs.com forum and type about this symptom and find you are in great company. This is nothing like spasticity. This is where you are unable to walk, or extreme difficulty. I find that it helps if I stretch my calves on stairs. I think this could help as well. I find that I get this when my anxiety is extra heightened. I have had the twitches, numbness, tightness, pain, burning, pins and needles that stay and stay. It is scary, and I go in and out of concerns, but my symptoms fit BFS so perfect and the neruologist is confident that is what I have as well. I believe that you are dealing with the same thing. Calm the anxiety and the symptoms should calm as well.
