Hi Sarah...

You are not alone, and I can sure sympathize with you on this one.  I have always been one of those "hot blooded" people.  My very first panic attacks occurred in restaurants where it was warm and there didn't feel like any air was circulating.  So temperature can most certainly be a driving force/trigger for me.

I have just started cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and I hope that this will help me with triggers such as an uncomfortable room.

The very best to you, Sarah!...  Chuck :grinning-smiley-003:

Oh yes..When I was at my worst, the room was usually warm.. I get dizzy and sick too.. I keep the A/C on almost ALL the time and fans have to go all the time. If I am someplace that is hot, I'll get very anxious.

Yes! Yes! Yes!, I was actually taking a test on a computer that was timed and it was soooooo hot that my anxiety level went up to 10+. I had to make myself stay and finish the test and try to look calm, but inside I was having an internal WAR with myself.

Yep, it also makes me drowsy.. and when I don't have anxiety to go with it, it just makes me irritable being in too much heat.
