Please help, im not sure what these odd head feelings are.
« on: March 27, 2014, 07:12:47 AM »
Hi I am 21 YEAR OLD male and for the last 6 months have not been right. Firstly it started with a sinus infection, so the doctor said, although antibiotics didn't work, i even felt nauseas for a few weeks when it all started.  I've had severe brain fog for 6 months which is worse some days than others and has almost at one point stopped me from continuing university. I get strange not painful feeling in one spot of my head well around that spot, its difficult to describe it doesnt hurt but its worrying me and when it come sometimes it feels tight like squeezing in my brain then maybe a light poking sensation., left centre of head, partial lobe I believe, almost like a part of my brain is being pinched gently. This comes and goes throughout the day and really worries me. I've also been twitching non stop all over for months but know more in my face, this worries me.  I've seen about 5 different doctor s and ha've all said anxiety but how do they know????  I have also been to the opticians 5 times and all said good, one even dialated my eye to check and did a color thing and he said your color would be first affected but yours is normal. I went there because I have floaters and light sensitivity now and then. Lately I've been nauseous and worried stiff nauseated mainly in the morning but when i eat it lets off :action-smiley-065:. I'm finding it so difficult to do what I'd normal y do, gym etc. Help please?Any one with similar symptoms or stories? Any facts  that will help me? I'm now on anxiety med, but I don't know if it's anxiety.

Everything you describe sounds extremely familiar to most people here I am sure.  Head issues like the ones your are describing are usually sinus related, and the trouble is thinking about them and focusing on them just makes you notice every little feeling in your head.

Lots of docs not worried...neither should you.

I've never had light issues but I have had the others for 3 months now. I randomly get a stabbing pain in my ear, the sides of my head feel pressured, I get tension headaches, nausea, I feel weirdly nauseated if I haven't eaten in a few hours, random spasms and twitches, and sinus pressure when stressed. Other people on here have similar troubles and it's typically anxiety.

Thanks for the replies, sally and Kristin. Did you ever find out what it was? How long have you had it for?
