The MRI was 2 hours?   I thought it was just your hand.  Why did it take 2 hours?
I struggled for 25 min.

First they scanned my thumb with one coil specifically for that. Then I had my pinkie and ring finger scanned by a different coil. Then they gave me the contrast and did it all over again for comparison.

Went in at 8am, walked out at 10am. Is that not normal?

I don't know about coils and scanning different things. Add in the stop and start for contrast,  I suppose doing all those things would take up the time amount.

I hope you can somehow get results soon to help your thoughts.

Coils are apparently like focusing lenses for MRIs or something. Makes them focus clearly on my issues. I didn't really know about them until today either. I figured I'd just lay on my back and be still for awhile, but no. It was a whole ordeal.

I hope so too, Monday is really far away. Thanks for your concern.

Thank you very much, your words are appreciated. Positive thoughts are really important for me right now, so I'm happy to soak them all up!

This may seem like a... ridiculous question, but could you all perhaps humor me? This ache in my right shoulder, or left knee, the chances of them being connected to my hand thing are incredibly low, correct? The pain may not even be REAL and me thinking the hand thing is reaching up my arm and attacking my leg is rather mental of me, right?
