Glad it's over for you. I would try calling your Drs office tomorrow (especially if there is a nurses line) to see if the results are in. I was able to ask (beg) a nurse to read the findings to me over the phone so I wouldn't have to suffer and wait over the w/e until my OB looked at my results. Good luck!

Yes, do ask for results of being worried.
I was told my last spine mri would be in a week.  I later found out the radiologist read it an hour after the test and they had it that whole time.

I wish test results were on the spot more.

Is it a good or a bad thing that the three masses I mentioned showed up very clearly on the MRI imaging even before they injected that dye into me?

Also, is it weird for that dye to make you nauseous? Not very, but I definitely felt sick for a moment.

I didn't notice any effect from the MRI contrast.  I was just told to drink water to flush it out of my system.
It could be the anxiety over all of this is making you nauseous.  Anxiety does that to me.

The Technician, who was a very nice lady, told me it was probably because she hurried its injection up because she could tell how uncomfortable I was. I had to put all my weight on my right shoulder for TWO HOURS. She mentioned most people couldn't have done that, made me sorta proud.

I feel a bit less like a wimp that this scares me so badly, knowing that my tolerance for discomfort is well above average.

The MRI was 2 hours?   I thought it was just your hand.  Why did it take 2 hours?
I struggled for 25 min.

First they scanned my thumb with one coil specifically for that. Then I had my pinkie and ring finger scanned by a different coil. Then they gave me the contrast and did it all over again for comparison.

Went in at 8am, walked out at 10am. Is that not normal?

I don't know about coils and scanning different things. Add in the stop and start for contrast,  I suppose doing all those things would take up the time amount.

I hope you can somehow get results soon to help your thoughts.

Coils are apparently like focusing lenses for MRIs or something. Makes them focus clearly on my issues. I didn't really know about them until today either. I figured I'd just lay on my back and be still for awhile, but no. It was a whole ordeal.

I hope so too, Monday is really far away. Thanks for your concern.
