Do You Ever 'Push Through It'
« on: March 24, 2014, 08:11:10 PM »
I get this from every dr after a boat load of tests ranging back to almost a year. But when they cant fing anything i get the "try to push through it"

I have meds and at times it helps me from some pain from some of the symptoms. Makes me calm. But sometimes the meds arent enough and no luck with any other therapies.

So when your sitting there in pain or feeling sick, how do you guys manage to push through it. Me i usually end up just balling up in the bed just waiting for something to happen. And sometimes im at the point i want something to happen (nothing sudden sinister) .

But pushing through is probably the hardest thing to do cause you feel your just wasting away and in so much discomfort

I find a distraction to get through the minute-by-minute symptoms.  Pretty soon, days, weeks, months pass and I realize I'm not dead.

MOST anxiety happens at the subconscious level.  JUST because you don't feel consciously anxious or had a day or two of calm doesn't mean your mind & body are relaxed.  It can take months of reduced anxiety before a body goes back to a more non-reactive state.  - AnxietyZone member Sixpack
