tension headaches....
« on: March 21, 2014, 08:16:30 PM »
Is it common to have tension headaches everyday or just about everyday? I'm a very tense, stressed, and anxious person, so I feel the tension all of the time in my shoulders, neck, back etc. But I also feel it in the back of my head and across my forehead.

all is clear with the neuro, gp, Ent, and ER Dr. I'm VERY slowly letting go of the brain tumor fear. I'm just looking for someone to relate with this tension everywhere, especially in my head.

one more thing, not one of these drs that I've seen recommended a ct scan or MRI......im sure that would ease any fear I gave but oh well.

I have random stretches where I'll get a headache everyday. My GP and Eye doctor both thought I was fine and I don't need an MRI and I've been to my GP at least once a month since november. If your neuro thought you were fine than you are probably fine. Another good sign is none of them thought you need an MRI, thats 4 medical professionals, one being a specialist in all things brain and neurological.

OH yes,  I am always clenching in tension and it will make aches and pains.
Try moist heat on the area often as it helps relax and good blood flow to heal.
We all carry tension in different areas.
