Would MS or BT symptoms come and go
« on: March 18, 2014, 12:34:07 PM »
I felt horrific for two weeks as u guys know from my other posts.. I then felt ok for two days and though maybe the cig withdrawals were gone and the Prozac side effects were gone. Last night 20 minutes after I took that dumb prozac I felt anxious and nausea. I fell asleep woke up at 130 am and part of my stomach was numb like in a circle the size of a golf ball. It went away after a few minutes of rubbing it and freaking out. I still get wierd sensations in my legs mostly my left like shakiness wierd tingly feeling that'll spurt for a second or like a tightness feeling it's very wierd ... And I have had random buzzing like a cell phone was in my leg in the past years ago and on and off that's very wierd too

Totally just anxiety, man.  I started having the "buzzing" last year after a particularly stressful period.  It used to be constant; now I might have a buzz for a day or two and then it's gone for several weeks.  Don't sweat it, and it'll begin to fade on its own  :action-smiley-065:

Hello  ;D

I am currently experiencing some on/off nausea that has been bothering me for almost a month now. I had it almost 2 years ago for a few months until it went away. General rule of thumb is that something sinister wouldn't cause a symptom to come/go and it would progressively get worse.

Anxiety symptoms come and go, but illnesses such as a brain tumor or MS do NOT. A brain tumor doesn't just stop showing symptoms, because it's always there. I have had all of your symptoms, and anxiety causes all of them. You have typical anxiety symptoms.

According to my internal medicine physician, illnesses don't typically come and go.

I appreciate your replies greatly. The random tingling or heavy feeling in my left leg or feet still comes and goes. It is hard to explain what it feels like. I think I have been really working myself into a panic since I got a dizzy spell over two weeks ago.  Sometimes just walking around here at work I'll feel my foot an odd sensation focus on it and tell myself it's horrific and my leg and even arm will get sensations and it'll last a little while and I will feel a sense of panic. It's tough to say if the symptoms are constant because I just may not realize them until I focus on them. Would MS symptoms be debilitating? Like when they say numb on the left side, or loss of coordination, is that like "you can't miss that" or like other people would notice something isn't right? Sorry to continue about this but it's taking control.

From what I've heard, if you had MS, you would know.  It's not something you'd question at all.

It's annoying as can be. Sometimes I'll get the tight tingling in one of many toes usually my last toe: a random pain in the eye ball. Would vision be the first thing to go if you hadMS? If it's not MS I'll think it's a brain tumor so I'm losing either way.

Tingling is one of the common symptoms of anxiety. It certainly doesn't equal MS, especially if it comes and goes. I have gotten pains in my eyes, along with my million vision symptoms. Don't worry about that.
