So here is a symptom that I've been ignoring because I thought it meant nothing, but there is a swollen lymph node on my neck that becomes extremely painful when I drink alcohol. It will cause a stabbing pain on the left side of my neck that will usually grow into a full blown headache and it wont go away until the next day after I sleep.
I didn't realize this was a symptom of lymphoma, but now I wish I hadn't ignored it
I just stopped drinking alcohol.
I googled it because there is ANOTHER swollen lymph node beside my right ear, it's small like a pea but really hard. I woke up five times last night because it would get sudden stabbing pains, so I googled it. It usually doesn't hurt, though.
I also had a big, unexplained weight loss last year (about 25 lbs). Now I am really freaking out. I went to a doctor THREE times but they didn't test me for anything! I'm so stressed that it's so hard to get a doctor to test you for a disease. I want biopsies and an MRI, but doctors just prescribe antibiotics and say come back in a month, and then they prescribe more antibiotics if the first round didn't work.
Can someone help me? What do I do to get tests?
