Hi there!

Has anyone of you here experienced dreaming related to your health anxiety? Not exactly in your dream that you've been diagnosed or treated of your worst feared illness. Not that!  :angry-smiley-034:

For example; in your dreams you are googling about your Health Anxiety, Having a conversation with your friends/random people that you are scared of the said disease or sometimes in my case; i had a dream one time that Me & My mom are arguing that I've been yelling to her that "I had a Hodgkin's Lymphoma! I am tired of this! I had enough!" and my mom replied "No you aren't, you're fine!" Well that makes sense.

Please do share your experiences regarding about your dreams related to your Health Anxiety.

best of luck for all of us! hugs

Fact is we do dream of our fears. It is part of the make up of an overall dream. If something is on your mind it will come out to play as you sleep. Much the same if you were going to wedding in a few weeks. You would dream of all things to do with weddings. It is a normal type of thing to dream about. It can't hurt you at all. Just a dream.

I had a dream (several) that I was bitten by a dog and I was freaking out about rabies.  I'd be checking and worrying and checking and worrying and crying...  then I'd wake up and realize it was just a dream and almost be in tears again because I was SO happy!

I have terrible HA dreams.  My usual dreams are either that I am going paralyzed, or blind. They are really scary. I wake up terrified.

@greend, i think what you are mentioning is Sleep Paralysis. like you are half awake, you can't move or even scream and you see or hear some scary scenarios.
