Question about eyes. Jaundice?
« on: March 13, 2014, 04:57:15 PM »
I had my last bloodwork done a little over a year ago and it was perfect. I have felt like crap but doctors can't find anything. I am a 20 year old male. My skin looks normal and my eyes are white. I just have one thing that is scaring me though.

When I pull my bottom eye lid down, the white part of the eye that the eye lid covers is yellow. Can this be early stage?  Does anyone else see this if you pull yours down?

Have you done bilirubin in bloodwork? It's probably higher than normal. If so, and other things are fine it is called Gilbert's syndrom and it is completely benign. I have it and when I pull my eyelids bottom of the eye is always yellow.
