I have put a number of posts on here about headaches and head rushes and the fear of a brain tumour since end of last august..
I have been on 40mg of beta blockers now for 8 weeks and have been recording all my symptoms. I haven't had any headaches or head pains since sunday evening - which for me is really good ans whereas I was recording 10-12 instances of head pain over the course of the week lasting minutes to hours this has now calmed down.
However I am still getting what I explain as a head rush and what the doctor explains as anxiety! My head feels all fuzzy like sand or like the feeling when you stand up too quickly from sitting and I generally have a wave of nausea too, perhaps tingling sensation in head/body.
Ithese sensations were happening 6-7 times a week and now I am down to 2-3 times a week, although this was my 3rd since saturday.
I feel calmer and much more relaxed, but why am I still getting them, is my body telling me there is something wrong or is it still anxiety???? If so when will it stop? I am going back to doctors on thursday next week, but could do with some advice to avoid a panic situation!!
Does anyone else get this??
