Hi and am I crazy?

Hello. I' ve had depression and anxiety attacks for years, adrenaline is NO friend of mine, and had some rather severe health problems for about 3 months now. I'm nauseous, shakey, no energy, headaches, no appitite, stomach pains, diareah, very jumpy, have either hot flashes or cold sweats, a lot of trouble sleeping, I'm always exhausted no matter how much sleep I get, I've lost a lot of weight, I'm irritable, my concentration and focus is shot. So far all blood, urine and xrays have shown is I don't have pneumonia, mono or whatever else they test for at hospital. I have this thought, idea, whatever. Is it possible that my stupid body has locked itself into fight or flight mode?

Welcome to the forum. Good to have you as a member. Here you are with like minded people. People who understand. As we all suffer from something or other. So feel free to ask any questions. Our members are always willing to help others out. Good chatroom too. 3 posts to enter the room.

Find the correct section of the forum that suits your condition and create a new topic on it. This is just a welcome section. Never really get the same amount of help in this section as you would on the other sections of the forums. So whatever one suits the questions you are asking. Get much better answers.

Absolutely it's possible, your body has probably gone into a defense mode from all the stress of constant anxiety. I've had same symptoms and had many negative tests. I'm finally coming to realize what I was sure was some crazy disease- was actually my body reacting to stress. You're not crazy, I'm sure you really do feel things no doubt, but once you allow yourself to let go of some stress it can make a huge difference mentally and physically. It kind of gives you some power, control, & relief when you can just acknowledge, yeah I'm feeling stressed or scared right now and then just really try to find things to release it. Also remember that negative tests are a good thing! Hope this helps a little :)
