I wish I could say yes, but I am pretty sure my situation is physical and it totally freaks me out; that is why I need an anxiety site to turn to. Regardless of the number of tests I have had everything comes back normal. Go figure.

Kind of, maybe? I don't really know. I get head pressure and aches, ear ringing and general discomfort. Sometimes putting my attention on something and keeping myself from thinking helps.

Dépends ... There is "distracted" and then there is distracted. When I am really distracted, not trying to be distracted, my symptoms disappear.

this is very interesting because my symptoms seem to be circling around and maybe because i've made a promise to my neuro never to google my symptoms so i currently don't have any new input.

here's a funny story. my HR was racing for 2 consecutive days. Always an average of 98-109BPM so i decided to go to my cardio. when i was there an intern/trainee was doing the preliminary check-up and he told me that yes my pulse is racing but that it doesn't seem to have any irregularities then he said we just wait for my cardio to be there. then my cardio arrived, took my pulse and it was only 70BPM. i told him you must be kidding me & he goes "go check for yourself" and true enough it slowed down. maybe i should marry a doctor??? i don't know haha!

Sometimes it does seem like my symptoms lessen/go away if I'm really involved with what I'm doing, especially when I'm doing something fun with friends/family.  Other times it's really hard to stop thinking about them no matter what I do...  It's very exhausting.

It depends on the symptom.

MOST anxiety happens at the subconscious level.  JUST because you don't feel consciously anxious or had a day or two of calm doesn't mean your mind & body are relaxed.  It can take months of reduced anxiety before a body goes back to a more non-reactive state.  - AnxietyZone member Sixpack
