Hi, this does not indicate ALS is any way! I have gotten indents on my tongue from my teeth before. It's nothing to worry about!

Don't even worry about this.

I'm concerned as the indents are at the front of tongue to and I've never noticed them there before, I also have twitching on my tongue , I feel like I can't stop thinking about als!
Wondering if the twitching could be due to anxiety though x

Most definitely! I have had my tongue twitch, too. When do you notice the indents? When you first wake up?

They have probably been there forever and you're just taking note of it and blaming it on ALS. But, that is absolutely not a symptom of that disease at all!

Ah thank you I've been so worried as they seem really obvious.
Would other things such as constant tongue twitching and feeling although I'm slurring even though no one else notices it be anxiety or something to be concerned about?
It's strange how anxiety can make you completely convinced your sick!

I have worried about ALS, too. I even felt like I was slurring my speech. But, anxiety CAN do that to you. Your nerves are all fired up and you're thinking faster than you can talk, and as a result sometimes your words come out jumbled.

You wouldn't believe all the physical symptoms I have. I have gotten that feeling in my throat, had weird feelings on my lips and tongue, had trouble swallowing (especially during the time I thought I had ALS). I even thought one side of my body was weaker.

What you're describing sounds like typical anxiety symptoms! ALS is extremely rare, and the bulbar onset is even MORE rare. You should certainly stop googling... that just adds fuel to the fire.
