Some four-to-five years ago, I had my initial symptoms that led-up to my diagnosis of GAD and panic attacks.. Before I accepted that I had GAD, I was absolutely certain that I had something physically wrong with me. I spend months seeing all types of specialists, and having test after test done, with each one coming out normal.
Once I started seeing a psychiatrist to manage my mental health care issues, and saw a psychologist for therapy, I was able to see great improvement, and eventually returned to my former self.
You didn't mention in your post, what you are doing to treat your anxiety. I am currently on an anti-depressant, and also seeing a therapist for cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). Chances are that if you get proper treatment for your anxiety issues, most if not all of your symptoms will become a thing of the past.
