weird head sensation
« on: February 25, 2014, 09:23:06 PM »
Lately I have been having an achy feeling on the left side of my head that comes and goes. At first it felt like dripping in my head butnow its just an ache kind of feeling. I do have allergies so not sure if that has anything to do with it. I do worry about aneurysms. Has anyone had this happen before?

Could be TMJ - you may be clenching your teeth in your sleep.

I agree with sunlover, you may be clenching you jaw or grinding you teeth without even knowing it. It's also possible you are tensing up a lot and the muscles in your back run up your neck to you head so it's possible you just need a bit of a massage.

Yea I have similar, tension tightens the muscles in my neck, which pulls on my scalp and causes all sorts of weird feelings. I also have vestibular migraines (dizziness) so that just makes it even weirder.

I definitely think I may have tmj. I also have an overbite as well.  Thank you for the comments I have never tied the two together but it definitely makes sense
