Is it time to let it go.?
« on: February 25, 2014, 05:41:48 PM »
On march the 1st it will be two years since I starting having " symptoms " and convinced myself I had Hodgkin's disease .

Obviously I am still feeling anxious but no diagnosis .

I feel like my life has been on hold for the past two years And I haven't moved forward in any aspect of it !

Is it time to accept I'm not dying ? And let live ( if only it was that easy :( )

It sure sounds like it is time to let go and move on.  I would think after 2 years, you are going to be OK.   :happy0151:

2 years?   Unless you got chemo for it OR unless you are posting from "the great beyond"  you do not have it!

I would really think so Gemmal. 2 years and without treatment I'm pretty sure you wouldn't be here.  Do you get therapy?

Wow thanks for the support guys !

Sadly I do still have bad days where I think I have it which is embarrassing really because I would be beyond the grave lol !!

I don't have therapy I never went to my appointment which I regret but I was genuinely convinced that it wasn't in my head . I think I will make an app to talk to someone this week.

I am so thankful for this forum !

Ps I have had lots of bloods and chest x rays I have addressed it many times .

If you cant let it go after 2 years and many tests , then you need speak to someone because it is obvious you are fine...but in your mind its a different matter. hopefull talking will clear your fears
