I hope this is'nt too far off topic. Ok, I have a pet goat and a few days ago I was playing around with it and several times I wrapped my arms around it and buried my nose/face in it's fur (we were wrestling more or less). Of course I was breathing at the time and I could smell a musky goat smell but we kept right on playing. At one point I was doing this and it swung around real quick and the next thing I knew, my nose was practically in it's behind and that's when I decided playtime was over and went on about my business.

The next day I had some mild trouble catching my breath and the following day it progressed to the point where I was really having a difficult time breathing and I was very scared!. By yesterday I was still having problems getting enough air and I was really panicking. Today it has'nt been as bad but then I thought back and remembered that in the past I have breathed in goat hair/musk/odor and had the same breathing problems for 4-5 days thereafter. I have really bad allergies to begin with and this being allergy season and all, I'm wondering if it was just an allergic attack or something. I'm also prone to panic attacks which can cause shortness of breath and the Oxazepam I was on also made me short of breath so I'm not sure if this was from allergies, panic or the drug.

Anyone have a clue?

Well i dont know why this would have been a panic attack, of what? Because youve had them before, i thought panic attacks came in relation to something?
If course i know nothing about pshycology and medecine (the first one only what i`ve read on my own) but to me it seems like you had one of mine unexplained "well if youre allergic to this why did you do this, the brain said to nose..." allergic reactions. Youve also already have similar reactions before...
I dont know about the drug but ask a physician.
