Throat Discomfort
« on: February 23, 2014, 10:01:38 AM »
Hello all

The past 3 months ive been dealing with a few different anxiety issues. The past 3 weeks ive been having throat discomfort. I can feel it when I swollow but it doesn't hurt bad like a normal sore throat. Could this be because of anxiety, the horrible weather, or something normal? Ive never had this for.3 weeks....

Thanks!

Allergies maybe? It's happened to me before like in the mornings, try a nasal spray prescribed by your doctor and allergy meds. I take xyzal for allergies once a day.

I know what you mean it kinda clicks when u swallow if that makes sense? I get this and it is most likely the bad weather and the bugs going around at the min I've had a mucas sore throat for 2 weeks but it's just stuff going around. Try not to worry see how u go if it isn't sore it's most likely your ha speaking

I think everyone's clicks when they swallow - I was just swallowing to see and mine is clicking, I don't have a sore throat, I'm not sick, I think it's just what everyone's throat does but no one pays any attention to it.

I experience the exact same thing, however everything really does point to anxiety. We really have to keep this in mind when this happens to our body whether it be our throats or whatever else. Our mind can EASILY manifest what we think sometimes. Mind over matter.
We will be okay. :)

Yes I hope so. Last night I went out for happy hour then started to think if drinking causes pancreatic cancer. Then I started to get some pain under my left breast bone!
