Stress could cause this. The fact that you are fully aware of it means you will focus on it even more. Focusing on it even more will only make it seem to get worse. I would try find relaxing to do. To take you mind off of yourself and your problems. I know. Easier said than done. But once you find something else to focus on your problem will probably just go away after a while. So look for things to do. If you see no change in a few days and you want to put your mind at ease, then visit a doctor. I just think a quick visit now might be a waste of money. You will probably be told it is only anxiety.

When my anxiety first came on I had no idea what it was. I had never been anxious in my life, really. Well, you know what I mean.

I have been to practically every specialist in this regards, and every test comes out CLEAR. Cardiologist? Clear. Gastroenterologist? Clear. And so on and so forth. I've attributed it to anxiety which, in turn, may affect the body in numerous ways. It mimics so much. It gives me reflux and chest pains. I've been to the hospital a handful of times thinking I was having a heart attack, but I was fine. I know it's hard to think in such a manner when it's happening since you may think, "Well, this is it!" But you're fine. Maybe going to a General Physician and getting an EKG done will help clear your mind a bit.

I get this and also have reflux. I know my flare ups go hand in hand. I also notice when it's happening I am tense so I try to relax. Stretch out. Lift my arms above my head and stretch. When my anxiety gets bad so does my reflux. It is an annoying thing and the more I think about the worse it gets. If I notice it and catch myself I can usually stop it. Good luck. It sure is no fun:)
