Severe health anxiety
« on: February 20, 2014, 03:32:52 PM »
Hi everyone... I have very bad health anxiety that recently developed about 4 months ago . I noticed floaters in my vision I wen to an eye doctor took a lot of dilated pictures said I was fine. Then I started getting full on panic attacks an had chest palpitations for two months STRaIGHT. Went to a cardiologist everything checked fine. The next day . Bam. My palpitations were gone but now I've been noticing spots like little white sparklers in my peripheral vision . Went back to the eye doctor . Nothing other than dry eyes which he gave me drops for. Now I can't sleep or function all I do is look around and try to notice the lights I feel like I'm going crazy . Can somebody help ease my mind! Or had the same experiences?

You went to the doctor and your eyes were checked.  You are fine.  I won't even BEGIN to tell you all the problems I have with my eyes. If I had those problems I wouldn't even notice it  :winking0008:
And your heart was fine too - palpitations (either pounding fast heart or "missed" beats) are normal for anxiety, and since you were checked out and given a clean bill of heart health, it's anxiety.
