obesity and endoscopy
« on: February 12, 2014, 10:51:19 AM »
My partner is having an endoscopy next Wednesday and I'm worried about her being sedated cause she is overweight and considered obese. She had surgery last year and made it through anesthesia just fine so I'm hoping sedation will be fine. Anyone have any stories similar to this?

If there was any reason that her doctor thought it wouldn't be safe they wouldn't do it and would discuss what needs to be done for it to be safe. If they are not worried then you shouldn't be either. I'm sure she will do great!
