Bouncing Leg Syndrome
« on: February 10, 2014, 01:53:39 PM »
When I'm sitting in class I bounce my leg on the ball of my right foot. It's obnoxious. I'll stop for a second, think about it. Then continue to do it. It's almost unorthodox to not do it.

Contemplating getting a steel rod inserted from my ankle to my femur but I couldn't afford that (;

Anyone else constantly bouncing their leg?

I'm constantly bouncing my leg too. My friends constantly complain about it, but I just can't stop. I think it could be a sign of iron deficiency, or something similar, but for me I think it's genetic, I have some relatives who constantly bounce their legs too ;D

Oh yes, constantly.....been doing it for years....since I was a kid  :yes:

My and one of my younger sisters do it all the time....
It's like I can't ever just be still....it's funny really.
For instance, Me and my family will be at church.....we take up one whole pew.....my sister and I will be unconsciously doing this and my step-mother will look at us both and tell us to stop, lol.
Or when I'm at the movies with my husband or mother, they always end up putting their hand on my knee and tell me to stop....they laugh about it, lol.

But, most of the time I don't even realize that I'm doing it....it's automatic.

I've never seen anything wrong with it.
I just smile and go on with my life  ;D

I just caught myself doing it before I wrote this post. I was sitting at the right end of the college table (they are break-down tables with legs  on both sides that fold up) and my knee kept hitting the metal safety release sleeve on the folding part. There was a good 5-6 seconds of CLANKCLANKCLANKCLANKCLANKCLANK. I stop for a second to act cool, I'm sure people heard it though lol.

Thanks for the replies.
