MS Optical Neuritis HA
« on: February 10, 2014, 12:22:04 AM »
Well I have been having peripheral neuropothy (tingling in hands and head, numb spot on face, arm and leg etc) for the past 3-4 months that coincided with stress. Prior to my doctor diagnosing anxiety I was put through about 20 blood tests, 3 mris, a physician, a neurologist, and 3 other gps all telling me that I didnt have ms as all of my physical tests were fine and the results of 3 mri's were also normal.

I finally thought that despite these feelings not going away I could accept that this might be anxiety related and work on my mental state. Then I woke up with blurred vision in one eye and a color tint. The blurred vision went away after a day but the color change hasnt (it isnt as bad but still noticable at times). I now think this is Optic Neuritis and I do in fact have MS.

Does this sound like it or is this all in my head. Google is probably the worst invention for self diagnosis because you can read symptoms and apply them all to yourself. I can appreciate how if someone was losing their mind that they could truely believe what they are saying!  :fragend005:

You had MRIs in the last 3-4 months. You are fine.
