Trouble staying asleep
« on: February 08, 2014, 10:21:27 PM »
I had some issues yesterday with weight worry and it took a while to get to sleep last night.

I slept about two hours and woke up (about 5 AM) then I went to bathroom and used it had some flem in my mouth so I spit in the toilet and it looked like a small spot of blood so I paniced. But this morning as I blew my nose I realized that it was from my sinus I guess it was to dry in the bedroom).

Anyway I wen t back to bed and every time I would fall to sleep I would wake right back up with a rush of adrenaline going through my body.
I got a solid 2 hours sleep and I don't know how much with all of the node off's and adrenaline.
So I have been up all day with just a little more than two hours sleep.

Anyone have any idea's what I can tonight if it happens?

Maybe try a radio on next to your bed. Some soft music. More as a form of distraction. I think if we wake up we get frustrated and annoyed at ourselves. We want to get back to sleep. So we try and force ourselves to sleep. This is always wrong. This will just keep us even more awake. Try stay in bed no matter what. Bit of relaxation. Let sleep come to you. Never force yourself to try and go to sleep. Don't get upset if it doesn't happen straight away. I am sure in time you will drift back off to sleep.

Thanks for the reply

I slept most of the night. I guess I was just to sleepy to wake back up.
