So, today was kind of a rough day at work, but I got through it becasue I was really looking forward to going to this party tonight. However, now I am deffinitly not going becasue I am freaking out.

I was sitting in a chair in my room and maybe I stood up really fast but i went and laid down on my stomach in bed with my head in my hands and all of a sudden i felt totally dizzy like i was going to pass out, and i could feel and hear my heart beat in my head.

WTF??

Please, seriously, has anyone ever experienced this before? is this a low blood pressure thing? Is this an anxiety attack? Or a stroke?

I am debating whether i need to go to the er or something.

I'm so scared.

LOL. You stood up fast so your autonomic nervous system was adjusting your BP for standing.. Then before it could complete that you laid down. So yeah.. It happens to me all the time. If I stand up to fast for example my vision blurs like im gonna pass out.. I have had it my whole life. It doesn't happen all the time either.. Also if I stand up quick and sit back down.. my heart will thump upon sitting.. I have no health problems by the way either.

That happens to me all the time. It's perfectly normal. Try to go to the party! Even if you only stay for an hour.
