« on: February 07, 2014, 10:27:14 AM »
I had been doing quite well, taking 30mg of paxil for about I guess a month and a half now, but then I got sinus issues the other day along with my time of the month and now I just can't calm down this morning!!! Its like my eyes are heavy and tired and my face feels full and i'm just freaking out and scared!!! Thinking every worse possible thing!!! What is going on?? Sinus infection possibly!!!

Hi Nancy...  I am so sorry that you are not feeling well today.

Unfortunately, just because we suffer from anxiety disorders, doesn't make us immune to other illnesses, as well as all the chaos that can fill our lives.  I'm sure that having sinus and hormone issues, is like pouring gasoline on a fire so to speak, when it comes to your anxiety.

I know that you were doing well on the Paxil, so hopefully this is just one of those temporary setbacks, and in a few days, you will be feeling much better.  If you do think you have a sinus infection, don't hesitate to see your doctor, and maybe get started on an antibiotic.

You are certainly in my positive thoughts and prayers.

As always, the very best to you, Nancy!...  Chuck :grinning-smiley-003:
