Worried about stress.
« on: February 05, 2014, 10:11:30 PM »
My HA causes me to always be tense. I'm now worried after reading about people who have a ton of stress in their lives and then have a heart attack or stroke.  My blood pressure is 140/70 every time I go to the doctor but like 118/75 wen my mom takes it. Just worried that my ever fluctuating bp and major stress from HA is going to cause me to have one of those problems.

Worrying about worrying is not going to help you... you're just creating more things to worry about, which further stresses you out.

What you need to do is distract yourself to reduce the stress. It's not going to harm you if you're blood pressure fluctuates, but having it be high all the time isn't good. Just work on ways to eliminate your stress. Don't worry about worrying.
