I've always had this problem before but this thing only got me really freaked out just now.
I usually feel bloated and burp a lot when I eat too fast and overeat or do not eat at the right time. They usually go away when I eat something like a crackers, bread, etc.
Last year, I rushed to the ER and was only diagnosed with indigestion. I had acid problems two years ago too and a GI specialist didn't really seem to be concerned about it and only put me under omeprazole and everything went fine afterwards.
However, it seems that the acidity has returned since last week when I started to eat lots of junk and overate.
My tummy doesn't hurt, but I notice that when I eat too fast or drink water after a meal, I feel so full and burp burp burp a looooot. I don't have any heart burn, acid on my throat, etc.
The burping usually subsides when I eat something light during the burping episodes.
I just came from my GP right now and he felt my tummy. He said everything was fine except that my tummy sounds noisy which indicates that it could be irritated by acidity. He does not seem concerned about it and gave me 1 week worth of omperazole.
I am really scared that the meds won't work this time and I can't help think that it's the big C.
I'm only 23 years old and I feel that I will get the big C of the stomach, colon, etc.
