Worried about worrying and stroke
« on: February 01, 2014, 01:19:50 AM »
Literally any time I am not home in bed I am panicky or on the verge of panic lately.  It's been like this for like a week.  It's just a never ending cycle as I have good weeks panic wise and bad.  Anyway, I had my heart checked out and got the all clear, but my heart rate seems to always been near 100 when I'm out and about, and I'm sure that means my blood pressure is high.  It's on the verge of hypertension every time at the doctor, although my mom said it is normal at home.  I'm worried that I have been getting so worked up, I'm just on the verge of a stroke even though I am only 18

At 18, your chances of a stroke are extremely remote. I would consult with a
health care professional to try to get your anxiety under control, as you are young and
have your whole life ahead of you.

Marc is right. I am trying to take this advise also!

I have migraines, so i worry about stroke. But in reality, we are young (im 22) so we shouldn't be worrying about things like that yet!

I hope you're well :)
