Everything feel so clear and close up like HD.
« on: January 30, 2014, 04:18:21 PM »
Everything feel like it's more clear now, I've been feeling like this for two days.
I'm sure I experienced this before, but it's freaking me. I'm thinking it's derealization,
But it's just this spaced feeling I don't like. It's really annoying, I haven't got the proper sleep I need, I keep waking up 2 hours after I sleep, my eyes are constantly tired. I don't understand

I used to get derealization a lot, too. I remember the last three weeks of my sophomore fall semester I was functioning almost entirely in this state.

It came and went for a few months and now it doesn't happen anymore, I sort of began to accept being in that weird state, actually tried to get myself to enjoy it (your brain is just overstressed, so it's dealing with those feelings by detaching, it's normal) and eventually it went away. I have a whole bunch of other symptoms of anxiety still, but I hope it makes you feel better to know it will go away eventually and you are/will be fine.

Sounds like classic derealization. Thinking about it more usually creates a vicious cycle. I would recommend trying to do something to get out of your own head. Distract yourself a bit, maybe exercise or just immerse yourself in a movie to break that cycle.
