Well it could be worse...you could have that ALS you were afraid of and bone cancer at the same time. That would truly suck.

Also, you said it's on the right half of the chest...it does sound like breast cancer.  I know you are a guy, but Google it enough, you will find it's not that uncommon for young guys to have breast cancer. There is certainly an article about that somewhere...

On a more serious note, you have money for therapist? Some antidepressants + CBT, would certainly help you as you are way to much focused on your body, sensations, lumps, bumps, and your thinking is irrational.

And no , sadly, i dont have money to get a therapist, but i know it would be needed. Im trying to beat it on my own, which is ten times harder, but possible, and I know my fears are stupid , but getting reassurance for them helps realize more and more everytime how stupid i am !

About a year ago, I was with my girlfriend in bed and accidently pressed a spot in my groin. I felt a big hard lump under skin. What could it be? Ding, ding - leukemia, stomach cancer metastasis, hernia, testicular cancer ?! Managed to come up with all those diseases in a second...I'm talent I know...

And since I am hypo, I "knew" that I would have noticed this thing before, so it must have been smth new.

So, I started writing my testament  :P and went to ultrasound. It turns out, as I had scar from previous surgery on top of it, it was just hard tissue that I just didn't notice previously even though I had it for 20+ years.

Point of the story (every story need to have one I guess), it is probably some old lump that you haven't noticed before.

As you have no money for therapist, do this http://www.anxietyzone.com/index.php/topic,58186.0.html , or download CBT for dummies from torrents and work on that, but work on it. Unfortunately reassurance is not helpful in the long run. It actually makes things worse.
