Just curious if anyone has had the any symptoms to do with taste and smell.....I am having these problems at the moment and was wondering if they cld possibly be anxiety and not anything more sinister.

I had it twice. Once for about 2 years I couldn't taste anything. Had all tests under the sun.. Neurologist said that unless the smell is affected there is no concern.
Then I was ok for a couple of years and then my taste AND smell went away. And I FREAKED out. Ran to the next available neurologist who immediately ordered a MRI, which of course confirmed that my worries of having a brain tumor were absolutely justified (I mean that fact that it was ordered confirmed my worries..).

Of course the MRI came back fine and the radiologist said they see it about twice a month and hardly ever find a physiological problem. So clearly: anxiety/stress.

Relax!
