Bone cancer fears

Few months ago, i found a small lump on the back of my head, it scared me, but then i forgot about it somehow, now it started to concern me again, it doesnt cause me any sort of problems, it just is there, but still im scared...

If it bothers you, I would get it checked out. Odds are you may have always had it.

With health anxiety, it's natural to want to jump to the worst-case scenario, BUT it always helps me to remind myself there are plenty of benign causes for whatever symptom is causing me, not necessarily cancer, death and dying :) It can be something as simple as a cyst (semi-soft, moves around a little) or a calcium deposit (hard)

I think it's always best to see your primary care provider if you're concerned, ruminating and looking up symptoms on WebMD only reinforces fears about health and brings on stress, where as going to your doctor is a productive action toward the problem that will give you results so you can let that fear go.

The fact that it is not growing or changing in any way is great.  How did you even connect that to bone cancer ? :)
