My doctor referred me to an alternative treatment center for biofeedback sessions. I've had a lot of tension headaches and am on Zoloft for GAD. I've looked into biofeedback and feel like it may be beneficial, but my insurance doesn't cover it and I'd have to take time off work to go. So I'm wondering whether it's worth it to go at this point. I've been practicing mindfulness meditation, yoga, muscle relaxation, guided visualization and deep breathing techniques at home. I'm wondering if biofeedback will really achieve anything different? Does anyone have any advice or recommendations?
