Anxiety for no reason from dehydration?

On vacation in CO. High Anxiety had mostly faded by second day. Yesterday I did a big hike but I also had diarrhea (from ibs) I drank from my camelback and thought I finished (50 oz) then I had 18 oz dinner.  I was fine until bed then I started feeling anxious. I managed to sleep but woke up with a panic attack. After it faded I managed to sleep some more. When I woke I was jittery. I checked my camelback and found it was still half full which means yesterday I only drank 43oz. Could this have brought on the panic attack?

Remember you are way above sea level, in higher altitude. Very dry, less oxygen, people can have strange reactions but are transported by the gorgeous natural scenery. Takes a bit of adjustment.

Definitely stay well hydrated, maybe take some time to meditate on hikes and take it slow. Wishing you all the best.
