Anyone else during panic attack?
« on: January 19, 2014, 05:35:31 PM »
I'm wondering if anyone else feels the need to move their bowels when a panic attack begins.  This happens every time I experience a panic attack and I find it really odd and annoying.

It can be more common than you imagine. More to do with your insides knotted up and nervous. Good lot of people carry immodium with them in case they are ever caught out. Can be bought over the counter in any chemist.

Sympathetic nervous system relaxes the bowel and bladder muscles as a reaction to fight/flight. Normal.
