stool probs - not gross
« on: January 12, 2014, 09:09:15 AM »
I just noticed, since I've been having stomach problems now, that when I went to the bathroom pieces of stool were floating. I was reading up on Crohns disease the other day and that symptom stood out for some reason. I'm sure that's a symptom of 15 more diseases that I don't want to read about so I'm not even going to look it up. Was just wondering has anyone out there noticed this problem from time to time? It's not every time I go the the bathroom but it is once in a while and it is only pieces. Please let me know. Thanks

I remember reading that if you ate something fatty it can cause your stool to float because fat floats

My stools sometimes float. This happens from fat, fiber, etc. Many people with IBS experience this but people without IBS experience it as well.
