Crazy question
« on: January 10, 2014, 11:18:43 PM »
So I deal with anxiety 24/7 however when i have good moments of absolutely no anxiety (which is rare) I almost feel euphoric like its hard to explain but I'm just really calm and I feel very good! Does this happen to anyone else??

That might be dissociation. Anxiety doesn't stay the same within a day (or from day to day) it's always changing to some degree obviously. But those feelings of calm are probably the dissociative elements of chronic anxiety.

I don't know enough about how dissociation works in terms of neurochemicals but apparently it involves serotonin which is said to make people calm. That's my guess as to what it is though.
