Mine is way worse in the morning a few weeks ago I would wake up every morning with full body tremors, this was when I was most anxious but eventually it went away (Thank God!). I also get it pretty badly sometimes before I go to sleep which makes it even worse in the morning.

I am often more anxious in the mornings as well.  I sometimes even feel ok right after I wake up, but then I immediately search for the anxiety--and then I find it: )

I don't know if you have any thoughts about beating this, but I like what bpadilla49 had to say.  I like making a plan the night before and then following through in the morning no matter how anxious I feel.  I personally like to go for a walk.  This is because I feel more anxious when I am alone and going for a walk makes me feel part of the world.  But your needs might be different.

I suggest trying to do something that gives you an activity.  Maybe you cook a really nice breakfast for yourself.  Not just cereal in a bowl, but something you cook that actually takes some time and effort.  Maybe you could walk your dog, lift weights, knit, write a poem, call a friend.  Just something you enjoy.  That way, you can start to replace your anxious feelings with the positive feelings of doing something that you love.

This is me 100%. I feel so much better right before I go to sleep. But when I wake up the next morning it's like I can't start off my day until I find something to stress over or until I can remember what it was I was already stressing over the day before. But once night time comes again I'm fine. But for me it's at bed time. I'm more relaxed.

Same. I hate the mornings. I wake up and say"yep i'm still here, then some ache comes, the heart starts racing, and then the scan. ughhhhh. By the time i'm done my shower, and blow drying my hair for work i'm really worked up. I don't know how i even manage to get to work everyday. (Some days i don't)

Yep.  Sometimes I am anxious before my eyes even open up in the morning.

May be due in part to the fact that cortisol (the stress hormone) is at the highest levels around 4-6 AM so it really can get anxiety in gear early in the day.

Always! Even when I am usually over a particular worry and I feel fine, in the morning, it's like all rationality goes out the window and I have spontaneous thoughts about having a terminal illness.

I have also noticed that I look for problems to worry about - even though I don't want to. It's like my body is so used to being anxious that it is abnormal to feel calm - which is quite sad actually.
