That can happen. Days are darker. May be a touch of SAD kicking in. Seasonal effective disorder. I know I hate this time of year. I wish it was summer all year round. I just do my best to stay as active as possible. But the weather is also horrible. That doesn't help much at all. You could also try one of those light boxes. Meant to mimic the sun. You put them on for a few minutes. Don't actually look at them. Just read a book next to it. It is meant to give you what you are missing out on by way of sunshine. They work well for some people. Just try and find things to do. Is the best you can do.

Yes, I hate winter. I'm in Michigan and during winter your pretty much cooped up in the house for months unless your a winter outdoor person which I'm not but I definitely get more depressed in the winter.

I definitely second the suggestion to get a light box. Replace your lightbulbs with natural spectrum bulbs too, if you can, and try to keep your diet healthy! I find that I crave leafy greens in the winter, for the iron and the vitamin C. I also find that spicy foods improve my mood, although obviously that won't work for everyone!

Yes and I live in North Carolina, so I SHOULDN'T experience this, but we still manage to get cold weather and sometimes snow. All we got today was 1-2 inches, but we dont fix the roads as efficiently here, drivers are awful, so I stayed out of work. :-/ Even though I am at home now, I still feel depressed, super anxious, and depersonalized. Think I am going to take a nap...
