Racing mind
« on: January 01, 2014, 02:04:47 PM »
My mind is always racing for the past week I don't sleep well I am constantly worrying about stuff  like dieing, superstitions, and just worrying about my anxiety overall it started after a tragic death the day after christmas my doctor gave me ativan an zoloft and I was already taking buspar. The ativan helps calm my nerves when I ttake it but I ddon't wanna have to take it every day even though it's only for a couple weeks will this all passes I'm afraid I will become to dependant on it so I'm trying to tough it out but I all this worrying is causing me to have elevated pulse and blood pressure should I just take the ativan once or twice a day or shouldI just keep trying to tough it out

Personally I would take the medication the doctor has given you. When I first went onto medication I didn't want to take it daily either and was worried if I started taking it I would never stop. I still have worries but my anxiety has eased with the medication and I think you would feel a lot better if you take yours!
